Crates made just for you

Each crate is custom made for your object's transport or storage needs. All crates are made to meet or exceed ISPM-15 standards. These crates are ideal for guaranteed safe transport of your artwork via common carrier and air freight, which we also provide. Custom hardware is always available to suit the specific needs of objects and clients. Options include: wheels, locks, forklift skids, suspension systems, tilt and impact monitors, hinges and more. All crates are assembled with screws and adhesives, not simply staples or nails. Deluxe Reusable Museum crates are ideal for traveling exhibitions and multiple shipments.

Locking Removable Castor

Shown above is a locking removable castor on a forklift skid. Notice the finish washer with screw to help identify the 'Open' side of your crate.

Sealed Sculpture

This bronze sculpture is first sealed in polyethylene, then wrapped in large bubble wrap. It is then floated within the crate with 2" thick ethafoam blocking or 'brace' packing

Sealed Paintings

Paintings are sealed in inert polyethylene with protective corners. The crate is lined with acid-free ethafoam.

Rounded Edges

All edges are rounded for comfort of handling and reduction of jarring impact during transit.

Recessed Cable Ring

Shown above is a recessed cable ring, useful for tie-down during shipment or storage.

Crate Example

The crate shown above includes four shelves, a three drawer stool, electrical access holes, pegboard, locking castors, steel cable rings and a hinged door. It was used as a central element in an international traveling museum exhibition.
